How does Blackjack work?
Get as close to 21 as possible without going over. Beat the dealer's hand to win.
What is a Blackjack?
An Ace + a 10-value card (10, J, Q, K) on your first two cards. Pays 2.5× your play.
When should I hit or stand?
Generally hit on 16 or below, stand on 17 or above. Use strategy based on the dealer's visible card.
What is Double Down?
Double your play and receive exactly one more card. Good when you have 10 or 11.
What does Max Payout mean?
The maximum returned per hand, including your stakes. Each starting hand has its own limit, shared with its splits, doubles, side bets and its share of insurance. Doubling increases your stake, but does not increase the payout limit.
